- We introduced a couple of problems with 4.70:
- If you had icons in the Secure Desktop tray icon area, Secure Desktop may crash. This has been fixed.
- The Winlogon dialog would not save information to the registry. This has been fixed.
- When maximizing Secure Desktop, it just widens the dialog, it no longer moves to the top of the screen.

- Added Tray Icon Window on right side of tabs. Any application, started by Secure Desktop, that would normally create a tray icon in the Explorer Desktop should appear in this window when Secure Desktop is running as the shell.
- Added the ability to turn off the mouse clicks for the new Tray Icon window. This checkbox is in the keystroke/password tab of the options dialog. By default, mouse clicks are disabled.
- Fixed a small display area concerning the small locks next to password protected icons.

- Added a new time picker for the timed application start that is a little more user friendly.
- You now have an option in the WinLogon options for our GINA, Microsoft's GINA, or no change (if you are using a different one altogether).
- Secure Desktop will only run as one instance now.
- The Window Wizard will not accept a setting of top level menu if there was not a top level menu in the window selected.
- The command line parser was not working if a directory was EXE, this has been fixed.
- The ability to re-enable the right mouse button was added to the list in the Supervisor configuration dialog.
- If a user is not given the ability to exit NT, they can still log-off using Secure Desktop now.
- Esc is now one of the keystrokes that can be trapped, for those running Excel macros and similar apps.
- Startup apps can now be disabled (start tab in options dialog) for debugging purposes.
- Some of our customers do not use Secure Desktop as the shell, so we added the ability to ask for the password when exiting Secure Desktop and we've made Ctrl-Esc trapping still work in this case.

- In Windows 95/98, the logoff option is now always available as our attempt to detect if a network was available was flawed.
- In NT 4, switching to the normal task manager will now actually delete the taskman registry entry, enabling Ctrl-Esc to open the Start Menu.

- Added a feature to the Continous Window Manipulation Wizard to force a window to stay maximized or minimized.

- In Windows NT, we were using a FORCE flag when shutting down, meaning that we didn't ask the applications if they were ready to shut down. We no longer user the FORCE flag.
- We changed the minimize on startup feature slightly. The system menu was acting strange.
- When a Secure Desktop menu item is selected from the system menu, a window restore is performed first.
- The accelerator keystrokes used for the menu item were changed to be unique.
