- Secure Desktop now includes a screen saver application. Rather than displaying graphics after timing out, it automatically logs out of Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000.
- Automatically disable any screen saver on a regular basis to insure that one is never set by a user or by a network setting.
- Log keystrokes to the vaprgman.log file along with the top window and current user name.
- Group tabs can now optionally exist as two rows rather than one, providing room for longer descriptions.
- When Control-Alt-Delete is disabled in Windows 95/98/Me, it is now disabled continuously rather than just during boot-up.
- Fixed a problem with an SASDisabled error message that occurred in certains circumstances.
- In Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, Secure Desktop shortcut links can be created for all users, if installed when logged in as an Administrator.

- Fixed a Window Wizard problem when deleting menu items in another application.
- Fixed a small display problem in Window Wizard concerning the system menu checkboxes.

- Added Control-F1 to keystroke trapping. Control-F1 brings up help in Internet Explorer.
- Added Shift-Left-Mouse Button to mouse trapping. If you click on a link in Internet Explorer with the left mouse button and the shift key held down, a new browser window for that link is initiated.

- Most of the keystroke trapping has been improved when Secure Desktop is used in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 or later or Windows 2000.

- Windows Me support has been added.
- In Windows 2000, the correct user information was not being loaded when the autologin feature was used. This has been corrected.
- In Windows 2000, when shutting down the computer will also be powered off.
- In Windows 2000, when exiting without the force checkbox being checked, any application not responding to the exit query will be forced into shutdown anyway.
- The ability to disable mouse clicks in the tray icon area had broke in version 5.00. This has been fixed.

- The latest comctl32.dll is also included on the CD-ROM, should you decide that you need it
